Russia to resume air travel with Switzerland from August 15
MOSCOW, Aug 3 (PRIME) -- Russia will resume air travel with Switzerland starting from August 15, and the flights will be made once a week, a spokesperson for the government’s response center for the prevention of the spread of coronavirus told reporters on August 1.
“The response center for the prevention of the import and spread of a new coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation chaired by (Deputy Prime Minister) Tatyana Golikova made a decision to resume international flights with the Swiss Confederation on the Moscow–Geneva–Moscow route on a reciprocal basis from August 15, 2020,” the statement said.
The response center continues to monitor the situation and work on expanding the list of countries with which air traffic can be resumed, the spokesperson also said.
Russia earlier decided to resume air travel with the U.K., Turkey, and Tanzania from August 1.
